Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) empowers nascent entrepreneurs and those who face systemic barriers to starting and scaling their businesses. Through the GEW, we intend to spotlight impactful voices and organizations, through four events, that would serve as an inspiration and knowledge base to entrepreneurs within Cross River State
Objectives:
- To provide an opportunity for business owners in the state to meet and network
- To train SMEs on how to build and scale their businesses for Social Impact
- Celebrate start-up efforts in building a great society
- To provide a space where SME owners can showcase their products

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a global initiative that introduces entrepreneurship to young people. GEW emerged in 2008 as a result of Enterprise Week UK and Entrepreneurship Week USA 2007. Since its creation, more than 10 million human beings from roughly 170 countries have participated in entrepreneurship-related events, things to do, and competitions throughout GEW.
This annual tournament occurs over one week and includes the participation of millions of entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, educators, entrepreneurship guide companies, and involved individuals. Currently, a hundred sixty-five nations have celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week running countrywide campaigns that generate approximately 35,000 events, activities, and competitions.
