We are thrilled to invite you to a significant event in our community – the celebration of World Environment Day in Calabar, Cross River State. This year, Transformation Home Africa in collaboration with the Coalition of Environmental Advocates is marking this important day with the unveiling of our ambitious 1000 Tree Planting Project.
Event Details:
- Date: June 5th
- Time: 8:00 AM
- Starting Point: In front of the Ministry of Environment
Our gathering will commence at 8:00 AM sharp in front of the Ministry of Environment. From there, we will move to Barracks Road where we will officially launch the 1000 Tree Planting Project. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to environmental sustainability and the beautification of our beloved city.
After the launch, participants will engage in the first tree-planting activity at Barracks Road. This is a fantastic opportunity for community members to get involved hands-on in making Calabar greener and more environmentally friendly.
Following the activities at Barracks Road, we will proceed to Jonathan Bypass to continue with our tree-planting efforts. This project aims not only to improve the aesthetics of our city but also to contribute to better air quality, provide shade, and create a healthier environment for all residents.
Why You Should Join:
- Make a Difference: Be part of a community effort that will leave a lasting positive impact on our environment.
- Learn and Educate: Gain valuable insights into environmental conservation and tree planting techniques.
- Community Spirit: Enjoy the camaraderie and spirit of working together with fellow residents who share a common goal of enhancing our environment.
We encourage everyone – young and old – to come out and be part of this transformative event. Bring your friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can make Calabar a greener, healthier, and more beautiful place to live.
Let’s come together to celebrate World Environment Day with action and purpose. We look forward to seeing you there!
