DevNet Day Re-scheduled

Day

Just days to the first virtual Cisco DevNet Day, it was postponed. The initial propose date of June 4, 2020 was probably not convenient for the network  giant to organize the event.

The Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins spoke on the reasons behind the postponement on the video below.

And the SVP/GM Cisco DevNet & CX Ecosystem Success, Susie Wee also gave a statement on the postponement when he said “As our Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins explained, “In light of all we see going on in the world and in the United States, including feedback from some of you, we don’t believe the time is right to host an event in the middle of this tragic moment in our history.

Our hope is that we use this time to process, heal and define the actions we will take as organizations and individuals to make a difference and move forward towards a better, more inclusive world.”

He added “…Our teams have been working tirelessly to bring you an incredible Cisco Live and DevNet Day. We look forward to meeting with you later this month and we will confirm the new dates shortly.

In the meantime, we appreciate your understanding, and look forward to connecting with you soon.”

Well, a new date has been announced.
